What your child sees when time is almost up or has expired

Koodos gives children clear warnings so the end of screen time is not a surprise.

Before time runs out

The child device can show reminders as the remaining time gets low, including warnings around 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and 1 minute.

When time expires

Koodos changes to a blocked screen and explains that the available time has been used. The child cannot keep using blocked apps behind that screen.

The exact screen looks different on Windows, iPhone, iPad, and Android because each system provides different controls.

What the child can do

They can wait for the next allowed period, complete any option shown on the device, or ask a parent for help or bonus time. A parent can review the current mode and remaining time in the Parent App.
