Pair the replacement device with the child's existing profile so their rules and shared time continue normally.

Recommended order

  1. Install Koodos on the replacement device.
  2. In the Parent App, open the existing child's profile and add the new device.
  3. Complete every protection permission on the replacement device.
  4. Confirm the new device appears Online and receives the expected mode.
  5. Unpair and uninstall Koodos from the old device when it is no longer needed.

Do not create a duplicate child

A separate child profile has a separate timer, schedules, and history. Pairing the replacement to the existing profile keeps one source of truth.
