Pause lets a child stop the active timer when they are stepping away from a device.
What Pause does
When the child taps Pause, Koodos stops adding time and places the device on a blocked pause screen. This prevents someone from pausing the clock and continuing to use the device.
What Resume does
When the child returns, they tap Resume. Koodos checks the current family rules and continues in the correct mode, such as Free Time or Homework Time.
Multiple devices
The child's rules and shared allowance still apply across every paired device. Pausing one device does not create extra time. If another paired device becomes active, Koodos can make that device the one that reports usage to the shared timer.
Changes may take a short moment to appear everywhere. If a device is offline, it follows the most recent rules it received until it reconnects.
