Koodos changes the rules on a child's devices based on the current mode.
Free Time
The normal mode outside scheduled Homework Time and Bedtime. The child's daily Free Time allowance counts down while it is being used.
Homework Time
A scheduled focus period. You can block distracting apps and websites while leaving learning tools available. Homework Time has its own usage counter when a homework limit is enabled.
Bedtime
A scheduled period for stronger restrictions. Bedtime takes priority over Homework Time if the schedules overlap.
Locked
A manual parent lock. Locked takes priority over the schedules until the parent releases it.
Which mode wins?
Koodos uses this order: Locked, then Bedtime, then Homework Time, then Free Time. This keeps a weaker rule from accidentally replacing a stronger one.
You can choose different blocked apps and websites for each mode on supported devices.
