Koodos keeps the same child profile, schedules, and shared timer across supported devices. The way protection works is slightly different on each platform.
Windows PC
Koodos manages screen time, schedules, apps, and websites. Its desktop services run in the background.
iPhone or iPad
Koodos manages screen time, schedules, and selected apps, categories, and websites. Setup requires Apple's Screen Time permission and the Koodos local VPN.
Android phone or tablet
Koodos manages screen time, schedules, apps, and websites. Setup includes Accessibility, Usage Access, VPN, and the other protection steps shown by Koodos.
The Parent App is for parents
The Parent App is where you manage children, limits, schedules, tasks, and devices. Installing the Parent App on a phone does not automatically make that phone a protected child device.
Some controls look different
Apple, Google, and Microsoft provide different parental-control tools. For example, iOS uses Apple's app picker, while Android asks for protection permissions. Koodos uses the controls available on each device while keeping the family rules together.
